The British Museum played host for the Homes & Gardens Designer Awards 2013. The awards celebrate Britain’s best design talent with 12 categories ranging from bathroom designer to retailer of the year. David was awarded the Young Designer award for the M Lamp (designed for Juniper) and the EXTL lights (designed for Deadgood). Heres what the judges had to say;

“A lot of sophisticated work for one so young.” “Practical and deceptively simple.” “In the best traditions of good design.”

The M Lamp designed for Juniper has been shortlisted in the best product category of the Northern Design Awards. The Northern Design Awards bring together designers, retailers and property developers in a glittering celebration of Northern design and style.

A quick post to share some images from our recent outing at 100% Design last month. We had a fantastic show and would like to take this opportunity to thank all those people who made this year’s event such a great success.

We launched a handful of new products including the M Lamp, Cross Side chair and Alvin chair for emerging US brand Juniper and the EXTL lights for British brand Deadgood. Watch this space for more images and info on those.

It’s been a while in the making but we are happy to announce the launch of the M Lamp on Kickstarter. Many of you have seen this project evolve over the last few years, so we are excited to finally share this with you.

The M Lamp designed for US brand Juniper, is a contemporary play on the archetypal miner’s lamps of the 19th century. It emits warm, diffused light and will run for over 8 hours on a single charge of its integrated lithium battery.
