The M Lamp designed for Juniper has won the Core77 Design Award in the Furniture and Lighting category. Recognizing excellence in all areas of design enterprise, the Core77 Design Awards celebrates the richness of the design profession and its practitioners. The Furniture and lighting category honors excellence in the fields of Furniture and lighting products or systems in any context (private, public, commercial or industrial use).
This year’s Furniture and Lighting jury was based in Paris, consisting of Matali Crasset, Catherine Colin, Patrick Elouarghi and Anne-Marie Fevre. Here’s what they had to say:
“A poetic lamp which draws on the collective unconscious, from miners lamps to boat lamps. This is an obvious object that causes an immediate emotional connection. An object that says color.”
